Pasidi Panta Foundation (PPF) is a development organisation established in 2021 by professionals with over five decades of experience in building and sustaining community institutions, implementing large-scale development programmes, and strengthening agri-value chains.
PPF is committed to creating lasting change for marginalized farming households and underserved communities. The organisation focuses on smallholder farmers, vulnerable tribal communities, and the urban poor by strengthening community collectives, restoring natural resources, and building local capacities through sustainable agriculture and resilient livelihood practices. PPF believes that inclusive growth is best achieved through long-term engagement, evidence-based approaches, women’s leadership, and community-driven solutions.

Farmer Capacity Building

Helping smallholder farmers build practical knowledge and confidence to make better farming decisions through hands-on learning, demonstrations, and experience-based approaches.

Women-Centered Institutions

Supporting women’s leadership by promoting the active involvement of women-led groups, such as Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and enabling their meaningful participation.

Sustainable Agriculture & Soil Health

Promoting climate-resilient and low-cost farming practices with a focus on improving soil health.

Technology-Enabled Advisory

Using simple digital tools to provide timely and location-specific farming advice. Digital soil testing and crop advisory tools are used alongside regular field support.

Responsible Sourcing Program (RSP)

A multi-partner initiative supporting chilli and turmeric farmers through soil health restoration, IPM, water conservation, women-led collectives, and market linkages for residue-free, responsibly sourced produce.

Gramodaya Program

A long-term turmeric initiative strengthening dryland farming through GAP, IPM, soil and water conservation, field learning, and technology-enabled advisory systems for climate-resilient agriculture.

National Sustainable Spice Program (NSSP)

A capacity-building partnership promoting sustainable spice cultivation through training, IPM adoption, exposure visits, and farmer linkages to markets and national knowledge platforms.

Career Orientation for Girls

A skilling initiative empowering women agriculture graduates with career guidance, soft skills, and confidence to pursue diverse opportunities beyond traditional government employment.

Stories from the Ground

From Doubt to Confidence

Somashekar, a turmeric farmer from Doddamallapura village in Kollegala Taluk, had struggled for years with poor crop growth, imbalanced rhizomes, and disappointing yields despite heavy reliance on chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

From Scepticism to Stewardship

Through consistent field guidance and regenerative methods introduced by PPF, Sommanna reduced input costs, revived soil vitality, and achieved better yields, shifting firmly toward sustainable agriculture.

IPM for improved soil: Kavita Lakshmi

With soil testing and IPM practices supported by PPF, Lakshmi cut fertilizer and pesticide use by 50%, saved ₹30,000, and expanded sustainable practices across her entire farmland.

Beyond Farming: Building Livelihood Security

Facing crop losses, Madhavi diversified into poultry farming with PPF’s support, scaling her enterprise successfully and securing a stable income beyond agriculture.
